Achilleas is a 2019 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 sailing from Alimos Marina in Athens, and the yacht in our fleet built for the biggest crews: six cabins, four bathrooms and berths for twelve.

She is also one of the most self-sufficient. A generator and air conditioning keep the cabins comfortable on hot nights, and a water maker turns seawater into fresh, so twelve people can spend several nights at anchor without planning the week around the next tap.

The walk-around deck makes moving forward safe and simple, and the cockpit is set up for sailing: furling genoa and mainsail, a chartplotter at the helm, autopilot, wind instrument and an 80 HP engine. A bow thruster and electric windlass help when berthing stern-to in a busy harbour. Automatic life jackets are aboard, along with a sprayhood, a bimini and cockpit speakers for long afternoons.
